DarkThreads, CRKT @NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits

This Weekend: NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibition

http://www.nraam.org/

We are set up and ready to go at booth 646 - Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) at the DL Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. There will be a wide range of CRKT products there available for purchase.

The exhibit hall is free to NRA members, and open 9-6 Friday and Saturday, 10-5 Sunday. If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by and say hello! We would love to meet with you.

Just Added: CRKT M16 Series

UPDATE: What can I say? We've been busy - traveling, getting orders shipped out, and we're looking forward to going to the NRA convention, April 29 - May 1, at the DL Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

Just Added: CRKT M16 Series

We've expanded our offerings of knives and tools to include Columbia River Knife & Tool - a manufacturer that features lots of innovative designs, and very high quality products. The M16 Series designed by Kit Carson is primarily for the professional - with lots of sizes, styles, and variations to choose from.

Pictured above: M16-01Z Spear Point Zytel EDC knife - the best value in the work and sport knife world. Zytel is a fiberglass-filled nylon that offers excellent toughness and resistance to solvents. The blade is 8CR15MoV high-carbon stainless steel which gives an ideal combination of toughness and edge-holding ability in a work knife, and also allows easy field-sharpening. This knife and several others are now listed in our Web store, and we are continuing to add more.

If there's a particular CRKT knife that you are looking for and don't see there yet, please don't hesitate to contact us! sales@darkthreads.com

Speaking of knives...have you seen the tv series Dual Survival on Discovery? It's interesting. Two survival experts: Cody Lundin and Dave Canterbury demonstrate their skills in harsh places like Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina. In the new season premiere, they actually inflict a wound on Dave so they can show how to cauterize it with black powder. Um, yeah, don't try that at home. ;-)

ATACS is coming!

...And we expect our first shipment to fly out the door pretty quickly. So if you would like to get your hands on any of this stuff, please don't hesitate to contact sales@darkthreads.com.

Propper A-Tacs Tac.U Combat Shirt & Propper A-Tacs Boonie/Sun Hat

Propper A-Tacs Army Combat Uniform

I will be adding the full product line to our web store, but why wait when you can easily place your order by sending a note to sales@darkthreads. com? Please drop us a line! Thanks.

U.S.M.S.C. @MegaCon 2011!

TerrorWerks is ON! The U.S.M.S.C is in da' house @MegaCon, Orange County Convention Center, Hall D. If you are in the area, please stop by and check it out.

If you've ever played Call of Duty, Doom, Duke Nukem, or any first-person shooter video games, and wondered what it would be like to experience the pulse-pounding adrenaline rush of combat (without actually risking life and limb), then swing by the TerrorWerks booth - West concourse, Room W221a and b:

1-7pm today (Friday, March 25)
10-6 pm Saturday, March 26
10-5 pm Sunday, March 27

Sign up for a quick tour of duty (about 45 minutes) with the USMSC (United States Marines Space Corps)! We provide the gear - tactical vest and airsoft rifle - so you can test your abilities in simulated combat. If you survive, you can call yourself a USMSC grunt! Our recruiters are walking around MegaCon, looking for a few good candidates. Just look for the handsome guys in dark digital camo with a tactical vest on, and they can show you the way.

Pick of the Day: TRU Combat Shirt

It was a great day to play airsoft at Waynes World in Ocala, FL yesterday, and it was also a great day to wear the TRU Combat Shirt. The body of the shirt is made of a soft, moisture-wicking fabric that will keep you cool and dry in hot weather, and it layers very easily under a vest or plate carrier.

We will actually be wearing the Digital Urban/Black combat shirt as part of our U.S.M.S.C. loadout at MegaCon this weekend.

If you don't already have one of these, you need one! And we've got every color combination listed in the store at MAP. We also give discounts for group orders. Please don't hesitate to contact sales@darkthreads.com for more info. Thanks.
