More photos from SHOT Show 2014

As usual, SHOT Show is a great way to see what's new and exciting in the shooting sports industry. We like to get a preview of all the new products and prototypes that manufacturers roll out at this show, and I'm sure that Stefan will have plenty to talk about when he returns to home base. In the meantime, here are a few more photos from the week.

Goodbye 2013, hello 2014!

What a year we had! We did 25+ shows this year, and plan to do even more in 2014. To start off, we will be at the ARH gun show at Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, PA, January 4-5, 2014.

And then, we'll be attending the ANM Expo (Jan. 12-14) and the SHOT Show (Jan. 14-17) in Las Vegas, NV.  This will be our second year attending the ANM Expo and our sixth year attending the SHOT Show.

V-J Day photo

On this day in history, August 14, 1945, one of the most iconic photos was taken in Times Square, NY:

Warms the heart, right?

The photograph, taken with a Leica IIIa, was published a week later in Life magazine among many photographs of celebrations around the United States that were presented in a twelve-page section titled Victory. (Wikipedia)

However, the official US celebration is not on this date. V-J Day is instead celebrated on September 2, the date of the formal signing of the surrender.

Say hello to my new favorite bag...

The Mil-Spec Monkey and Tactical Tailor have done it again. They combined forces to make a new product that embodies everything I love about tactical nylon in the new MSM Adapt Pack design. This one has so many cool features - just watch the video:

We just got these babies in and we will have them at the show this weekend in Monroeville! Plus, we'll have a bunch of other new stuff from the Monkey, RangerUp, 7Point62Designs, and our usual array of fine tools and cutlery from CRKT and SOG.
